Ochre art

While living in the Pilbara of Western Australia, Bill was introduced to the use of natural ochres for painting abstract artworks.

Judy (check out her amazing felt art), Bill's wife, collected the ochres from the local landscape and prepared them for use.

Inspiration for the paintings is all around you when living and working in the Pilbara landscape.

Take a look at the images.
